Hi-E 40

The hi-E 40 is a medium efficiency, self-supported extended surface, pleated filter, available in 1", 2" or 4" depths and several standard face sizes to accommodate most system requirements. The lofted, non-woven media composed of non-dyed natural cotton and synthetic fibers provides 25-30% average efficiency and 90-93% average arrestance. The hi-E 40 is effective as a stand-alone filter or prefilter. UL Class 2.

The Purolator F312 are panel filters utilizing the unique Purolator Monobond concept of a one-piece frame sealed to the media using heat and pressure. Multi-Guard media is electrostatically charged to enhance filter efficiency, particularly on small particles (less than one micron). The charge is particularly effective at improving initial efficiency before the dirt load causes mechanical efficiency to rise. Dual layer spun bond media with gradient density fiber structure permits dirt loading throughout the entire depth of the media. Dual layers create a large fiber surface area to collect an unusually large amount of dirt up to three times more than other bag filters.

Clean-Pak

 

Select from a wide variety of sizes, pocket counts and pocket lengths in each efficiency. Nobody has more models than Airguard. The header and pocket retainers are made of galvanized steel for high strength, durability and rust resistance. The roll formed header is a single piece U-channel with multiple bends for extra rigidity. A built-in stop inside the header channel prevents racking. Adjacent pocket retainers are fastened together with a high strength mechanical staking process that secures the pockets and prevents separation at very high resistance or under turbulent conditions. A rugged spun bonded synthetic scrim backing on the air leaving side of the pockets protects the media from tearing or erosion. Formation of the pockets (by span stitching or sonic welding) creates a wide open entrance into each pocket. Uniformly shaped channels permit maximum air flow with minimum resistance. Total pocket inflation results in complete use of the media, high dust holding capacity and long service life.

DEFIANTŪ Bag

 

 

DEFIANT media bag filters outperform similar products with respect to initial efficiency, average efficiency and dust holding capacity. The continuous hydrophobic fibers composing the DEFIANT media do not absorb moisture and are thermally bonded to eliminate the need for chemical containing binders that could promote microbial growth or generate VOCs. This creates a durable media able to withstand turbulent, high velocity conditions.

For use where space is limited. 4" deep LEGACY filters operate at 500 FPM at substantially lower resistance than competitive 4" - 6" deep filters. LEGACY filters replace traditional 12" deep rigid cell filters operating at 500 - 625 FPM with substantially lower resistance. Beads of adhesive applied to the media bond the pleats into a totally rigid, solid pack. The pleats hold their shape and the molded channels are held open for free flow of air in all types of operating conditions. For front load installations, or where there is no down stream access, 12" deep LEGACY filters are available in a reverse flow model. No pleat deformation, no blocking off. Rigid cell design, all plastic components and Dura-Tuff 100% synthetic media make Legacy filters ideal for the most demanding operating conditions, including variable air volume systems, high air flow, turbulence, repeated fan shut down, high moisture, and some chemical or corrosive conditions. These filters are designed for tough installations. The Channel-Flow molded media design not only produces low resistance, it also allows the media to be completely exposed to dirt laden air. Dirt loads evenly over every square foot of filter surface area for maximum dust holding capacity and long service life. LEGACY filters are made with Dura-Tuff synthetic media. It is extremely durable, resists tearing, abrasion and is highly damage resistant. No more media damage during shipping, handling or installation. Dura-Tuff media is also unaffected by exposure to moisture and some chemicals. This media is just plain tough. The cell sides are made of high strength, high impact polystyrene plastic. They are moisture, chemical and corrosion resistant. Legacy filters contain no metal components – no rust, no corrosion. The elmination of metal also makes these filters completely incinerable and light weight.

It is extremely durable, resists tearing and abrasion, and is highly damage resistant. No more media damage during shipping, handling, or installation. This media is just plain tough. All plastic components with synthetic media make V-FORCE filters completely incinerable. Growing restrictions on landfills in many areas make incineration the most viable disposal option. High impact polystyrene plastic components and synthetic media make V-FORCE filters suitable for installation in systems where high moisture is present. They are also unaffected by some chemical or corrosive conditions. Rigid cell design mini-pleat packs, all plastic components and 100% synthetic media make V-FORCE filters ideal for use in the most demanding installations, including variable air volume, high air flow, turbulence, repeated fan shut down, high moisture and some chemical or corrosive conditions. The Double-V design consisting of four mini-pleat media packs with glue bead separators enable V-FORCE filters to operate at low resistance to air flow. The Vari+Plus extended surface air filter is another superior product in the Airguard family of rigid high efficiency products. The unique design of the Vari+Plus offers a wide range of dirt removal efficiencies coupled with extremely low resistance to air flow. The combination of these two values offers high performance filtration, long service life and low operating costs. When compared to traditional rigid or cartridge style filters, the Vari+Plus provides between 40% and 300% more filter surface area, assuring long service life and economical operation. The Vari+Plus is offered in four ASHRAE rated efficiencies -- 60-65%, 80-85%, 90-95% and 95%, plus 95% DOP. This broad range of performance provides the required level of clean air for virtually any application.

The Vari+Plus is designed to handle large air flow volumes up to 3000 CFM per cell. In addition, the extremely low pressure drop, created by the high ratio of media to filter face area, results in significant energy savings and low operating costs. The leak free filter pack offers guaranteed removal efficiency with every unit produced. The filter is extremely strong and durable, yet light weight and easy to install. The pleat packs may be installed in the horizontal or vertical position. Burst pressure on the product exceeds 8.0" W.G. The Vari+Plus filters are constructed with microglass fiber paper media. The depth loading media is formed into mini-pleats which are separated by continuous beads of thermo-setting adhesive. This design maintains uniform spacing between the pleats to assure even air flow and media pack rigidity throughout the life of the filter. Each mini-pleat pack is sealed within the heat resistant plastic end panels and galvanized steel support struts. The entire media pack is guaranteed leak free around the entire perimeter of the product. The construction of the Vari+Plus assures a rigid, durable air filter product. Installation into existing framework is quite simple, as the perimeter header is secured by standard latches or clamping devices. The Vari+Plus requires no rear support. It may also be inserted into side access housings with a 1" track.

Variflow filters are designed for high and medium efficiency air filtration in all types of commercial, industrial and institutional HVAC installations.

The media pack, consisting of pleated microglass paper media and corrugated aluminum separators, is sealed inside the cell sides forming a totally rigid filter assembly. Rigid cell construction is recommended for variable volume systems. Fluctuations in filter face velocity, turbulent air flow or repeated fan shutdown have no affect on filter integrity or performance.

Variflow media is made from ultra fine fiber microglass paper. Each efficiency has its own formulation for fiber size and density. Paper mat media is unaffected by humidity or intermittent exposure to water. Water does not pass through media, but causes a temporary rise in resistance, which quickly falls back to normal levels as the moisture evaporates. Variflow filters are widely used in areas with high humidity or in systems where sensible moisture is likely to reach the filter.

Variflow filters are only 6" deep (250 FPM) or 12" deep (500 FPM), saving valuable space in designing the air filter section of the HVAC system.

All metal construction and microglass paper media also make Variflow filters suitable for high temperature applications up to 350° F. (Above 200° F, the recommended final resistance of 1.2" w.g. should not be exceeded.) For higher temperatures (up to 900° F), High Temperature Variflow filters made of aluminized steel are available.

Available with Antimicrobial Treatment. 90 - 95% Bio•Pure Variflow filters are treated with an EPA registered antimicrobial agent to inhibit growth of bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi on the media.
